Sound work by Cathleen Grado
Real and Imaginary Places addresses how space and location affect cumulative sensory experiences, memory and feelings of presence. The virtual sonic landscape is participatory and includes recordings requested by the artist on specific themes.
Iteration #4 of Real and Imaginary Places: 2020 Recordings were collected and integrated into the piece by the artist between November 30 - December 6.
The project developed into a 24 hour livestream on December 7 at midnight, EST.
